The Breitling Navitimer B01 Chronograph Watch, reference number AB0138, has served as the defacto pilot’s watch throughout the glory days of civil aviation – making it one of the brand’s most recognizable pieces.
This style of timepiece originated in 1952, when Willy Breitling first developed a wrist-worn chronograph with a circular slide rule that would allow pilots to perform all necessary flight calculations. These same features come to life on this exquisite timepiece, which features a 43mm Stainless Steel case and bracelet. The blue dial also includes luminous hands, luminous index markers, a trio of contrasting chronograph subdials, and a date display located at the 6-o-clock position. It’s powered by a Breitling 01 automatic movement with approximately 70 hours of reserve time.
